If you use a steel plate and not stainless, the water will turn black.

I am a little new at this.
I just tried to make a hydrogen generator but I have a few problems with it.
1: It runs at about 35 amps.amps
2: The water turns black after about 2 minutes of operation.
3: it produced bubbles but I put a tube into the bubbler and I didn't see any bubbles from it. I guess that it didn't get any pressure.

I am a Disable person and live on a very fixed income, Gas is taking almost 35% of income easy. I will be trying to turn my 1991 BMW into a hydro car. I know nothing about hydrogen are fuel cells I am doing all my research right now. I am asking for HELP PLease send me any info you have. It would be great. Thank you

Has anyone tried to tabulate results from assorted designs of hydrogen generators [watts vs volume of gas]
I dont think that by putting in high frequency you would get more gas than a DC system
